Coxarthrosis and hip prosthesis

Dr Samani created a hip cupule (Sam’s cupule) in order to avoid dislocation of prosthesis.

This technic is minimally invasive and respects the muscles allowing a faster recovery. The surgery can be done under general anesthesia or rachi-anesthesia. The implants used are the latest in technology, with double mobility which avoids any risk of post-surgery dislocation. The patient can stand up the next day and need to stay hospitalized for five days only. These new implants have a life span of over 20 years.
